Woman
The Orana Woman is a year-round community platform for women across Dubbo and the towns, stations and communities of the Orana on Wiradjuri Country.
We share stories, profiles, gatherings, events, important news and the work that connects a region. The things that hold communities together do not always make the news — but here, they matter.
Every month we release a new edition but this the year-round platform so each part of it has its own home, its own stories and offerings so start wherever you like.
Once a year, the platform peaks as the Orana Every Woman Festival during International Women’s Week. The rest of the time, we're here to keep you connected and up to date.

The Orana Woman did not begin as a content strategy. It grew out of years of asking people questions, one-photo stories, awkward conversations about periods and menopause, a women’s festival that started in a chat with a friend — and a belief I keep coming back to: the best stories are already in the room.
