About Us
What We Do & Why
Our vision is for every woman in the Orana region to have access to creative, wellbeing, and community experiences that lift her up and strengthen the networks that support her all year round.

Our Story
The Orana Every Woman Festival is the evolution of the much-loved Dubbo Women's Festival, which began in 2024 as an International Women's Day gathering.
What started as a one-day event has grown into a week-long celebration and year-round community, co-created with women, community services, artists, businesses, and local leaders from across the Orana.
Every event, from free daytime spaces at The Greens to Festival After Dark, is designed to lift each other up and strengthen the networks that support women all year round.
What We Do
Annual Festival
Deliver a week-long program of free and ticketed events that celebrate creativity, wellbeing, and community across the Orana region.
Every Woman Circles
Facilitate monthly gatherings for meaningful conversation, connection, and support on topics like grief, finance, and parenting.
The Ezine & Podcast
Share wellbeing stories, podcasts, and videos year-round to keep the conversation going between festivals.
Women Who Hustle
Support Orana women makers and entrepreneurs through markets and an online shop platform.
Our Values
Inclusivity
We create spaces where women of all ages, backgrounds, and life stages can come as they are and take what they need.
Collaboration
We believe in lifting each other up. Collaboration over competition is at the heart of everything we do.
Creativity
We value art and creativity as tools for belonging, wellbeing, and positive change in our community.
Accessibility
We remove barriers to participation with free events, childcare, and a digital pass for regional access.
Wellbeing
Improving wellbeing where women live, work, and socialise is at the heart of our program.
Community
We strengthen the networks that support women and our communities all year round, not just during festival week.

Acknowledgement of Country
The Orana Every Woman Festival is based in Dubbo NSW and we respectfully acknowledge the Wiradjuri people as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the unceded land on which we work and gather.
As we bring women together across these vast lands, we pay our respect to all First Nations Elders, past, present and future. We celebrate their continuing connection and contribution to culture, country and community.
